All smart phones are different and are set up just a bit differently. The best we can provide online is general guidelines for setting up your hMail account.

DO NOT use the phone's wizard, choose Manual Set Up.

User name: type in your complete email address

Password: type in the password that is used for webmail/Outlook

Incoming Mail Server: the address is mail.yourdomainname. Don't type this exactly. Use your domain name with mail. before it!

Outgoing Mail Server: the address is mail.yourdomainname. Don't type this exactly. Use your domain name with mail. before it!

Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication: This box needs to be checked.

Incoming Server(POP3) Port: 110

Outgoing Server (SMTP) Port: 587

SSL is not available, make sure it is turned OFF
If you have tried to set up your phone multiple times and it is not working, completely delete your address and start fresh. Most phones do not work well when you try to edit.
The store where you purchased your phone should be able to help you with the above information in their hands. If no one can seem to make it work, give us a call and we'll try to walk you through the process. It is quite difficult to do when we can not see your screens, but we'll try. |
